BAHAWALNAGAR: Three women disappointed over domestic
disputes and poverty were hospitalised after they attempted to co
mmit suicide by drinking toxic spray here on Friday.
A woman and child were injured after bitten by stray dogs. Another child affected of snake biting. Polic
e said that 23-year-old Irshad Bibi, a youngster Saima Bibi and Haleema Bibi hailing from different villages of tehsil Chishtian of Bahawalnagar attempted to co
mmit suicide by drinking pesticides over different issues including domestic quarrels and poor economic condition. They were shifted to hospital after their health condition deteriorated.
In Chak 17 Gajiani,
a 12-year-old boy Khadim Hussaim and married woman Yasmeen Bibi was injured afte
r being attacked by stray dogs. Another 8-year-old boy was affected of snake biting in village 40-Fateh. They were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital.
